The checkered flag has dropped for Baja at Hopkins. We’ve held our first couple organizational meetings and seem to have increased interest in the group. This year we should be able to build on last year’s success by having designs finished early in the year and getting funding set up quickly so we can begin the fabrication process ahead of the norm. Also, the large freshmen interest is encouraging and we are hoping be more innovative with the design by having more heads than ever working together to crank out this 10hp machine.

Special thanks to Bobby Ng for providing with us the “Baja Manifesto”. It is a condensed journal of what to expect when tackling the production of a Baja car. It is incredibly complete and we hope to add to it in coming years to sustain an excellent Baja team here at Hopkins. Picture and Video’s from last year will be posted shortly as this website is being re-done and is in a stage of infancy.
